Salary:

• $26,564.00 - $32,490.00 Annually ($11.88 - $14.53 Hourly)

Minimum Qualifications:

• 18 years of age or older
• US citizen
• High school diploma or GED
• No felony convictions
• Good moral character
• Free from physical. emotional, or mental conditions which might adversely affect law enforcement duties

Essential Functions:

• Testifying in court proceedings
• Investigation of traffic accidents
• Enforce laws
• Direct vehicular and pedestrian traffic
• Explain legal proceedings
• Remove hazards from the road
• Investigate crime
• Collect evidence and property
• Clean, inspect, and maintain assigned/issued equipment in a serviceable condition
• Demonstrate proficiency with issued/assigned equipment
• Communicate with the pu8blic
• Secure and protect crime scenes
• Ability to communicate over a police radio
• Document daily activities
• Conducting searches
• Interview victims, suspects, witnesses, and complainants
• Other duties as assigned
