A Message from the Chief

Welcome to the Garden City Police Department Website. The Garden City Police Department is committed to the “Community Policing” philosophy. In keeping with that commitment we are striving to develop partnerships and collaborative relationships with not only citizens, but with business owners as well. By working together we can make Garden City the safest community possible.

We have developed this website as a means of promoting a greater understanding of your Police Department and as a way of providing you with timely information.

We hope that you, the citizen, will not only visit this site but also contribute to it's success by providing suggestions, input, concerns, and questions on how we can improve our service to you. We are continually developing and implementing many innovative programs of interest to the community. Some of these programs include the Citizens Police Academy, Elder Watch, Senior Citizens Crime Prevention Training, and Town Hall Meetings. As these programs develop information will be posted here to keep you informed of times, locations, etc.
